Bali

Bali is an all time classic Australian travel destination. Being one of our closest neighbours, people enjoy going to Bali for its easy going nature, and beautiful scenery. During my recent travels to Bali, I went on a girls trip 21st birthday, which we experienced some of the most fun bars throughout Seminyak.

ONE: Rent a Villa

One of my favourite things about Bali is that they have these huge villas available to rent throughout the country. We rented a beautiful villa in Canggu called Villa Bali Sari, which is about a 20 minute drive out of Seminyak. This allowed us to see the beauty of the rice paddy fields from our doorstep, and experience the quietness of the countryside.

TWO: Potato Head Beach Club

Although we went later in the day and on a day where the weather wasn’t in our favour, Potato Head was a beautiful beachside bar/restaurant that features a beautiful pool, day beds, and a sit down restaurant area. The staff were kind and friendly, and made us some delicious cocktails!

THREE: Mrs Sippy

By far one of the most fun bar/pools I’ve ever experienced, Mrs Sippy has the perfect mix of fun and relaxing vibes. With day beds sprawled around a beautiful pool, you can easily jump in and out, and if you’re feeling extra brave, you can dive off the Mrs Sippy diving block! (which just so happens to feature a cute swing underneath perfect for pictures!)

FOUR: Motel Mexicola

If you’re looking for a bit of fun after dark, then look no further. Motel Mexicola is the place to go. With some yummy food, followed by the ability to dance on your table after eating available, Mexicola is sure to put a smile on just about anyones face.

FIVE: Check out the Seminyak or Kuda markets

Bali offers a large array of choices when it comes to shopping sprees. One of them being their local markets. Bartering with the locals to get the best price is always a great experience to try out if you’ve never tried it before!
